St Elizabeth of the Trinity Families,
On April 16 we kick off our 2026 Fun Run, which takes place next Friday the 24th! The first action item is to register your student(s) on Pledgestar, which is the new site we will be using to collect donations! Once you do that, you can start sending out those emails to start collecting donations. A letter is coming home with your students today with the link, a QR code and instructions.
The theme of our Fun Run is all related to sports! Each day will feature a Chicago Sports team. Students will recevie stickers and can be out of uniform wearing jersyes, t-shirts or the colors of the team. Classrooms will receive “Spirit” points for following the dress code, as well as earning laps, collecting donations, etc. The classroom with the highest Spirit Points will win a prize. Below is the theme list:
This year’s proceeds will be used for our new playground, set to be installed this summer! And we could use your help, and the help of your friends and families with this project.
Friday – 4/17 – Bulls
Monday – Blackhawks
Tuesday – Cubs
Wednesday – Sox
Thursday – Bears
Friday – Spirit Wear Day
Let’s see if we can break our previous record and get $50,000 in donations. If we raise $20,000 students may throw a pie at me. $30,000 – Father Leo joins me – $40,000 and we get Father Deo – and if we raise $50,000 then Mr Wuich will join the pie party! After that, we will just have to take requests!!
So let’s get registered and get those emails out, posts on Facebook and Instagram, and maybe some good old fashioned phone calls to family members! This could be our best year yet.
