St Elizabeth of the Trinity Families,
What a FUN Run it was! The weather was perfect, not too hot and not too cold – and it did not rain!
The kids had a great time, and we had some students who ran 20 laps around the school – they just kept on running, and running, and running. (I was actively recruiting for cross country and track next year:)
Thank you to all the volunteers and parents who showed up to support our students! Thank you parents for sending emails, texts posting on Social Media to raise funds for our new playground!
And thank you to the students for showing up and running! And shout-out to Miss Meg for tracking all the prizes and filling the bags each morning.
And of course, thank you to the Fun Run committee who saved us a ton of money by helping do this event in house instead of a company – Staci Mulkerin, Ali Dawson, Nicole Derrig, Lindsay Martin, and Miss Fisher.
While we did not reach our goal of $50,000, we did raise just about $35,000. The donation site will remain open until the end of May, so there is still time to get in some donations – though prizes end today. The class with the highest percentage of sales (and the highest sales) is Preschool! The top seller for the school with over $1300 in donations is Annie Torres! Congrats to the preschool and Torres family.
